Driven by a passion to constantly evolve ourselves with changing times, Best Food Company has grown from having one nuts processing plant in 1979 to being a market leader for branded nuts in the Middle East today.

The group today boasts 600 employees who share an unrelenting commitment to quality. Our consumers expect the finest from us and we set the highest standards in every aspect of our enterprise. With state of the art facilities spread over 128,600 sq ft, our expertise and dedication have made us a globally acclaimed name for the finest nuts and chocolates.

Based on an insightful understanding of consumer tastes and preferences, we have diversified into five divisions – The Nuts Factory, The Chocolate Factory, Best Food Emirates (150 employees/60,000sqft), Best Food Exporters (15 employees/14,000sqft) and Best Food Roasteries (60 employees/15,000sqft).

Our state of the art facilities have a capacity to process up to 25 MT of nuts daily and Best Nuts features a tantalising range including Peanuts, Cashew, Mixnuts, Almonds, Pistachios, Special Mixes, Supernuts, Imperial Mix, Macadamia and Seeds. True to our innovative streak, we are also the first company to market our nuts in cans.

The proud recipient of the prestigious ISO 9001 and HACCP certifications, Best Food today exports to countries across the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and South Asia. The company now looks ahead to extending our presence in new markets across Asia, Africa and Europe.

Expanding our investment to leap opportunities that can be generated from business development, product development and packaging innovations to exceed customer expectation and to better meet the needs of the market.

History

“Nothing is impossible if you’re determined to be the best”

The philosophy that defines Dubai inspired the late Saif Obaid Al Hathboor over 30 years ago to pioneer the hygiene packed nuts industry in the region. Following the unification of the Emirates and the subsequent oil boom, Dubai was set for a new era of prosperity. In this fertile environment, Mr. Al Hathboor took the giant leap from a traditional enterprise onto to the path of becoming a contemporary business house.

In 1979, along with his partner Mr Baghwan Bablani, Mr Al Hathboor established our first nut processing plant. Under the name of “Best Food” the company started off by roasting, frying and packaging premium quality nuts in nitrogen flushed aluminium packs and vacuum packed tins. From there it’s been a story of one accomplishment after another for Best Food.

In 2004, Best Food made its first foray into retail distribution and today Best Food has 7 retail shops offering customers fresh coffee, nuts, chocolates, dates and cookies. In 2005, Best Food further enhanced its business profile with a chocolate processing unit.

Today, after a journey of commitment, innovation and enterprise Best Food is today a leader in the nut category across the Middle East.
